daughter Mary, wife of John Rhodes, gives Maryland as birthplace
(which may reflect upon mother’s birthplace as well as father’s,
known to be in MD); Clara Mae Ross’s “Jacob Alt” [2001] pp. 258
& 265: (p. 258): ‘(p. 265): cites 1st wife’s father’s will of 19
Apr 1802, naming children of his daughter, Mary, to that date
and still living, as heirs, rather than his daughter, Mary; 4
[youngest] children [of Michael Alt, Sr]’ are by his probable
2nd wife. ‘From the death record[s] of Isaac and Jane [aka
Ginna], it lists their parents as Michael & Mary. Possibly both
wives of Michael Alt had the same name, Mary.’
