Passes Away—Solomon Boots, a pioneer settler of St. Clair
County, 83y8m1d old, died last Friday at his won’s, Will Boots,
in the Concord church vicinity. The funeral was held Sunday,
conducted by County Superintendant C. E. Higgins. Interment was
in Concord Cemetery. Deceasedleaves 4 daughters and 3 sons to
mourn his departure. Thus there passes away nother of the men
who undertook possession of this country when it was new and
made it what it is.…’
