in dates, it may be that Nancy Allegra had been married
previously, her maiden name was Tomlinson, and the adopted
daughter Bertha Boots may have been from her previous marriage’;

ll. 21-26]: age 42; 9-year-old Bertha McArthur with family. born
in Indiana as were her parents; while Nancy [Allegra] was born
in Massachusetts as were her parents; 1900 Randolph Co., IN

63-66]: age ‘69’ — married 31 years, 3 children born, 2 living;
