‘Martin Boots died at Four Mile Grove, Geneva township, Franklin
Co., IA; I do not believe Four Mile Grove was ever a proper
mailing address. It was where the Martin Boots family lived and
they were very proud of the name Four Mile Grove. There was a
church which the Boots family and others started and a school
house. Martin Boots is buried in the Lindenwood Cemetery by
Geneva, Iowa with Rebecca Jones Boots and his second wife (Elma
Clara Pound Manifold Boots) is buried with her first husband
Eleazer "Ell" Manifold in the Four Mile Grove cemetery near the
