Sarah (Boots) Garringer settled in Randolph County, Indiana on
960 acres. They had 12 children. A partial list: Henry, Issac,
Lewis, George, Uriah, Sally, John, Phoebe. Legend has it that
each child inherited 80 acres. I was born on one of the 80 acre
farms-north of Farmland Indiana. Isaac's burial plot with part
of his family is located one mile from my birthplace.’
