OH, parents b. VA; farmer — since step-children are present in
the family it is likely his wife, Mariah, is in her second
marriage, as older children make it also George Archer’s 2nd
marriage; 1900 Putnam Co., MO census (Grant township) [household
59]: as ‘Wash Archer’ age 73, born OH; parents born VA; married
38 years, 5 children born, 5 children living — 38 years married
for his 2nd marriage is not possible per 1870 & 1880 census
evidence — with children are 2 grandchildren, (granddaughter)

2005]: ‘George Washington Archer was Joseph Archer's brother.
Joseph was my gr gr grandfather. Anyhow,I don't know much of
anything about GW, but because of the kindness of a fellow named
Aaron I do have a photo of GW and his 2nd wife Mariah. I would
be happy to e-mail it to you if you would like to see it.PS For
some reason GW was listed as Joseph's father on Joseph's first
marriage license. Joseph was ten years older than GW. Their
father & mother were Willaim & Barbara (Boots) Archer.
