[sic] to Mary Boots, born Ross Co., OH, 29 Nov 1817; 10
children, 6 who survived: Francis M., Lydia A. (married Charles
Parminter), Jasper, Mary (wife of Homer Daily), Wm. N. & George;
Wm. (father) moved to IA in 1853’ — confirmed by “History of
Bremer Co., IA [1883] p. 1308; 1880 Ellis Co., KS census at Hays
(p. 435A): as ‘F. M. Hurley’, age 42, b. IN
